Join musician, ritualist and spiritual companion, Brianna Kocka, and musician Cody McKinney for a 60-minute Summer Solstice Sound Bath designed to honor the natural rhythms and transitions of the season. Through crystal singing bowls, percussion, and stringed instruments, this immersive experience invites reflection on our place within the cycles of the season. The frequencies and waves created by the bowls mirror the ebb and flow of our own lives, offering space for grounding, renewal, and connection.

The Deep Rest - a winter retreat designed to guide you inward through the quiet season, offering space to explore your personal relationship to rest, hibernation, and renewal. Through restorative practices like sauna, gentle yoga, cozy shared meals, and winter forest bathing, you’ll be invited to slow down and set a meaningful intention that will carry you toward the blooming season ahead. This is a time to listen deeply, restore your energy, and align with the natural rhythms of winter’s wisdom.
This retreat will be held at The Shire in the Woods in McGrath, Minnesota.
We plan for major events in our lives such as weddings and birthdays, but often the inevitable, our death, goes overlooked. Creating a vigil plan allows every person to have the autonomy to make choices that reflect their values, traditions, or wishes in preparation for bridging the gap from life to death. In this workshop you will learn about the benefits of this simple and empowering end of life planning tool. Whether you or someone you love lives with a life-limiting or terminal illness, or you simply want to begin exploring your own end of life planning, come spend the evening journeying with others by creating a vigil plan of your own.
This workshop will be led by Brianna Kocka, INELDA trained End of Life Doula and owner of Tairsi Doula Services, and will include a vigil plan overview before diving into individual and personalized time to begin to draft your own vigil plan. The session will end with a Q & A related to end of life doula work at large.
This event is free and being held at the city of Columbia Heights public library.
